District-by-District opt out numbers for 2017 math exams

Some students across Westchester, Rockland and Putnam counties are choosing to sit out grades 3-8 state exams. Here is the breakdown, as reported voluntarily by districts in the three counties to The Journal News/lohud. Check back for updates.

Some school districts said they would not provide their opt-out data at this time, including New Rochelle, Mount Vernon and Yorktown.

*Elmsford’s middle school math refusal numbers don’t include 8th grade.
